Dawn of a New World Chapter 1For some reason, I didn’t want to be here anymore. I had everything I could ever want, but it wasn’t enough. I had a family I loved, and friends who cared, but I lived under tyrannical rule. I would trade just about anything to live in a free society. I lived in the Kingdom of Septemptum, a large kingdom ruled by seven sadistic kings. Each of the Seven Kings was the ruler of one of the Seven Cities. Crèvage, the city I lived in, and the capital of the kingdom was ruled by Valerian, the eldest of the Seven. Chapter 1- The Forest of AniyaThe forest flew behind me like a sea of green. My vision could not focus on what was right in front of me; let alone what was beside me. I had been following a doe through the forest all day. It was nice to find something after three days of looking, but running like this was tiring. I couldn’t believe some people ran for fun. Who could enjoy running? I guess people had their own idea of fun, but this was definitely not one of mine. Finally, I began to run out of breath, and slowed down to a slow jog. Chapter 2- The TruthMorning came before I was ready for it. I didn’t want to wake up. I was always in a bad mood when I woke up, and people generally stayed away from me. Actually people stayed away from me anyways. I had been having the most amazing dream I ever had. For reasons unknown, I had left the crumbling walls of Crèvage far behind, I traveled north to the mountains, and made my way to the Dwarven Capital where I met the King of the Dwarves. I stayed and learned about the Dwarven Culture, and language until the King sent me to the Elven Capital, far to the west of Crèvage. It was a long travel to the Elven City, buChapter 2- The Truth

Chapter 3- LeavingI waited silently in my room until I could hear snoring beneath me. My father was the loudest snorer I had ever heard. It sounded like a horn was calling every time he inhaled. Normally it would be terribly annoying, but right now, it was very useful. In addition, my mother and my sister snored just as loudly as him, so I could tell it was safe to leave. Luckily, as far as I had been told, I didn’t snore at all. Guilt washed over me now. I felt bad about what I had said. They were my parents, and I had to love them for that. I had to leave though.
